Tierra Verde 1st Annual Car
& Truck Show, April 2012
Page 2
This is the second page of pictures from the Tierra Verde car and truck show. I took over 110 pictures and if I were to put all thumbnails on one page it would have been over 2 megs just to download the main page. So I broke the photos in to two pages to make it easier on anyone with a slower speed modem. If you missed the first page of pictures click here.
One other thing that I didn't mention on the first page was that it was a good outing for a wide range of Mopars. The two blue RoadRunners and the yellow Superbird received awards and I think the red Coronet 500 got one too. Plus both the two WWII Jeeps (one was a Willys MB and the other was a Ford built GPW) also received awards (one of the two received Best In Class). Both vehicles were owned by members of the First Florida Chapter MVPA and it was nice to see some Olive Drab make it to the show. Thanks guys. :) There was a third military Jeep at the show (an M38A1, shown in pictures number 29 and 30) but it was there because they were selling raffle tickets for it as they will be giving it away at the end of the summer. So it was not judged as far as I know. It was recently restored and looked great. Don't know if the canine co-pilot comes with it or not.
There may have been other Mopars at the show that received awards as I missed part of the award ceremony. So if you were at the show with a Mopar that received an award and I didn't list you I apologize for the error.
One final note: the last two vehicles at the bottom of this page were not in the show. I spotted them parked nearby and grabbed some shots of them anyhot. The Hudson pickup looked great and would have been nice if it was in the show instead of the parking lot. Oh well.
